Here's why there won't be a Through My Window 4 on Netflix
Raquel and Ares's love story continues in Through My Window 3: Looking at You, and fans of the film series were quick to start watching the new movie on Netflix. But for the people who have already watched the film, you're probably wondering if there will be a fourth movie coming out in the future.
I hate to even say this because I really enjoyed watching the first three films. But unfortunately, there will not be a Through My Window 4. I know. This is such a bummer, and I would've liked for this to be a joke. But it isn't. Netflix announced this sad news a while back. In December 2023, the streaming giant announced that Through My Window 3 would serve as the conclusion to the Through My Window movie series. In other words, the third film would be the last.
Slight spoilers ahead from Through My Window 3
So, it looks like the reason why there won't be a Through My Window 4 is because the film series was already planned to be just a trilogy. This makes sense if you think about how the third movie ends. Raquel and Ares get their happy ending, and we get to see them five years later still happily together. Even Artemis and Claudia and Apolo and Daniela get their happy endings after all the stuff they went through in their relationships. There isn't really any more story left to be told or loose ends left to be tied. In other words, everything wraps up nicely at the end, where a fourth film wouldn't be necessary.
Although we're sad that we won't get to see Raquel, Ares, and all the other characters on our screens anymore, we're looking forward to seeing what the actors behind these characters will star in next. For example, Clara Galle, who plays Raquel, will be in a new Netflix movie called Raising Voices. It's scheduled to be coming out sometime in 2024. We'll also see Julio Peña (Ares) in the upcoming second season of Berlin, which is set to begin filming in 2025.
All three Through My Window movies are streaming now only on Netflix.
