Here’s all the Spanish shows and movies coming to Netflix in 2024

2024 has gotten off to a great start on Netflix. We've already seen tons of new and returning shows and movies hit the streaming platform, and it's still early in the year. Recently, the streamer unveiled its 2024 Korean slate of shows and movies. Included in this list were popular Korean series such as Sweet Home, Gyeongseong Creature, Hellbound and Squid Game. All these shows are confirmed to be returning with new seasons this year.

Netflix also revealed its 2024 Japanese slate of movies and shows, which included upcoming films like Drawing Closer and City Hunter and shows like House of Ninjas and Tokyo Swindlers.

Spanish shows arriving on Netflix in 2024

After a significantly long run, the hit Spanish teen series Elite will be ending with its eighth season this year. This season, we'll be saying goodbye to all the students at Las Encinas. After that shocking cliffhanger at the end of season 7 with [SPOILER] being pushed off a building and ultimately meeting his demise, we can only imagine how the eighth season will play out and wrap up the story. Sadly, an official release date has not been announced yet, but it's been confirmed to be coming out this year.

1992 is an upcoming Spanish series confirmed to be released in 2024. Directed by Álex de la Iglesia from scripts written by Pablo Tébar and Jorge Valdano, 1992 is a thriller series centering around a series of mysterious murders connected to the Expo '92 in Seville. The show's cast is made up of Marian Álvarez, Fernando Valdivielso, Paz Vega, Carlos Santos, and many others.

"After the death of her husband in a strange explosion, Amparo (Marian Alvárez) begins to search for answers with the only help of Richi (Fernando Valdivielso), a security guard, ex-cop and alcoholic. Meanwhile, the murders always follow the same pattern: next to the burned bodies of the victims appears a doll of Curro, the iconic mascot of the Expo '92 in Seville."

Raising Voices is an upcoming teen drama starring Through My Window's Clara Galle and Skam España's Nicole Wallace. The show follows a 17 year old girl named Alma who decides to write on a white cloth "Beware. A rapist is hiding in there" and then places it in front of the front of her high school. Of course, this causes a stir with the other students and faculty at the school. Everyone thinks she's lying and doesn't believe her. So, did the sexual assault really happen? The only way to find out the truth is to travel five months back in time because that's where the story begins.
