Here's when all eight episodes of Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE will be on Netflix

After the highly anticipated release of KATSEYE's first EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), on Aug. 16, a music docuseries about the formation of the group will be dropped on Netflix on Aug. 21. Wait! That's really soon. We know, and we can hardly contain our excitement! In just a day, Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE will be released on Netflix, and viewers everywhere will finally be able to see how HYBE and Geffen Records' six-member global girl group was formed.

Are you just as excited as us about Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE's release on Netflix? If so, then we must share with you the exact time all eight episodes will be released. We had advance screeners for this docuseries, and we must say, this is definitely not a documentary you want to miss. Be prepared to be quite emotional while watching these amazingly talented young women pursue their dreams of becoming stars.

What time is Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE coming to Netflix?

All eight episodes of Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE are set to make their way to Netflix on Aug. 21, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. Of course, these release times only apply to people living on the West Coast and East Coast of the United States, and we can't forget about our Midwest folks. If you're in the Central time zone, you're looking at a release time of 2:00 a.m. CT on Aug. 21.

Now that you know when the music docuseries will be released, make sure to mark your calendar and set your alarm!

We'll give you a little run-down of what this eight-episode docuseries will entail. So, before KATSEYE became KATSEYE, all six members had to undergo a rigorous training and development program that used K-POP methodologies. And before that, they had to go through a highly competitive audition process where more than 120,000 people from all around the globe auditioned.

Once the contestants were narrowed down to 20, the lucky 20 then moved on to the next stage of the process, where they competed in a survival show called The Debut: Dream Academy. In this survival series, the 20 contestants had to take part in three different missions on which they were judged not only by HYBE and Geffen executives but also by fans who voted online.

Through this survival show, the number of contestants then bumped down to 10 before the final six girls who would make up the official group were revealed at a live finale event in Los Angeles. The official members were revealed to be Daniela Avanzini, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeong. Don't worry. You can expect all of this to be shown in the Netflix docuseries.
