Heartland season 17 isn't on Netflix yet, but here's where it'll stream for now

We have good news to report, Heartland fans. The hit Canadian family drama series officially has a U.S. streaming date for its seventeenth season! In a couple of weeks, U.S. fans will finally get to see Heartland season 17. It's been a long time coming, but we're almost there.

So, where exactly will the latest season be available to stream in the United States? Well, it won't be on Netflix—at least not right away. Netflix U.S. doesn't even have Heartland season 16 yet, so the seventeenth season won't be coming to the streamer anytime soon. However, the sixteenth season is expected to drop on Netflix sometime in 2024. We're just waiting for the streaming giant to announce the release date.

But when it comes to Heartland season 17, it's been announced that it will make its U.S. premiere on the streaming service UP Faith & Family on April 25. Yes, you read that right. The highly anticipated seventeenth season will make its premiere in the U.S. on the commercial-free subscription streaming service, UP Faith & Family, on Thursday, April 25, 2024. New episodes will be released weekly on the streamer, with a brief three-week hiatus after the fifth episode. During this break, UP Faith & Family will be sharing exclusive content with subscribers, such as a live stream of the Heartland FanFest virtual event, which is set to take place on April 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.

This virtual event gives fans the opportunity to submit questions through social media for cast members to answer live. Some of the Heartland cast members who will be at the FanFest are Amber Marshall, Michelle Morgan, and Chris Potter. A sneak peek of an upcoming episode will also be shown at the event.
