It’s time to head to theaters. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is officially out, and you know you need to see it in all its big-screen glory. Only then are you allowed to watch it at home on a streaming platform.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire promises to bring back the New York City firehouse that we fell in love with during the original movies. There’s a slightly more modern day look to a few things, but other than that, this is sure to continue the nostalgia that Afterlife offered us. And we cannot wait!

Is Ghostbusters: Afterlife on Netflix?

Right now, the movie isn’t on Netflix. It’s only in theaters, and that’s not too surprising. The release date was today, Friday, March 22. The great news is it will come to streaming in about six to eight months.

That streaming home is going to be Netflix. This is a Sony Pictures movie, and Sony and Netflix currently have a streaming deal.

That’s great news for the Stranger Things fans out there. Finn Wolfhard returns as Trevor in this sequel.

Wolfhard returns as Trevor, one of the Spengler boys who helps to take down the terrible creatures in the world. Paul Rudd also returns for all the Antman fans out there. He’s back as Gary Grooberson

Emily Alyn Lind has also joined the cast, but her role has been undisclosed. It suggests that she could be the villain unleashed with the ancient artifact.
