Get to know I Woke Up a Vampire star Will Coombs (Tristan) with these fun facts

The day that many of us have been waiting for is finally here! I Woke Up a Vampire season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. This season, we meet a new character named Tristan, who is portrayed by Will Coombs.

We're introduced to Tristan in the very first episode of the season. It's Carmie's first day of high school, and she's looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing new things. One of the new people she meets, or should I say run into, is Tristan. When she sees his face, she's instantly taken aback by his attractiveness. She even stumbles over her words while speaking to him. Tristan seems to be a charming guy and into Carmie as well. We find out later that he's a sophomore and on the track team. But although he comes off as the nice guy, something doesn't seem quite right about him. There's a reason why he's being so nice to Carmie, and we find out why later in the season.

That's all we're going to say about this character because we don't want to spoil anything. However, just know that Tristan plays a big part in the second season.

Now, what we do want to discuss is the amazingly talented actor behind the Tristan character, Will Coombs. Let's get to know him better with these fun facts!

What you should know about Will Coombs

Unfortunately, Will's age and birthdate are not known at the moment. However, he looks to be somewhere between 15 and 18 years old. We'll be sure to share his actual age once we find out. He holds dual citizenship in the United States and Canada and often spends time in New York and Newfoundland. He also has short brown hair and brown eyes.

While new fans know him for his role as Tristan in I Woke Up a Vampire, his first TV role was actually in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He played the role of Jason in the sixteenth episode of season 20, titled "Facing Demons." He would later take on the role of Odin in the comedy series Odd Squad and Noah in the musical comedy series Take Note. Some of his most recent roles were in the movies Out and About, Our Son, Queen of Bones and Christmas Island.

But before he began acting in TV and film, he began his career as a stage actor. He performed in the First National Tour of Matilda the Musical and on Broadway in the stage plays Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Ferryman, and A Bronx Tale.

Here are two quick facts about Will Coombs:

• He is a film major at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York.
• He's currently dating a girl named Viva. They just recently celebrated their two-year anniversary on Feb. 20, 2024.

If you scroll through his page, you'll quickly realize that most of his content is work-related stuff. However, he does have pictures and videos of his friends, family, and girlfriend as well. Now that I Woke Up a Vampire season 2 is on Netflix, I'm pretty sure he's going to see a significant increase in his follower count once people watch him as Tristan.

So, what will we see Will in next? Well, he's set to star in a biographical drama thriller miniseries called The Big Cigar. He plays the role of teen Bert Schneider. The show is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on May 17, 2024.
