What is Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult about?
Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult is a chilling new addition to Netflix's documentary lineup, exploring the unsettling story of a group of TikTok dancers who were allegedly trapped in a cult posing as a management agency. Ahead of the release executive producer Jessica Acevedo told Netflix:
"This series is about exposing the wrongdoers and setting the story straight, all with the hope of helping those still under the control of the church."
- Tudum
The series follows the real-life experiences of Miranda Derrick and fellow TikTok dancers who became involved with 7M, only to uncover unsettling details about the organization's cult-like practices. According to the official synopsis from Netflix Media Center:
"A group of prominent TikTok dancers are trapped in a cult masquerading as a management company called 7M. Among them is Miranda Wilking, whose family is desperately trying to get their daughter out. As other dancers and former members escape and work to rebuild their lives, it isn’t until they come together to try and put a stop to the cycle of their abuser that the real healing begins. This three part documentary series from director Derek Doneen, Dirty Robber and WV Alternative exposes the diabolical tactics used by cult-like organizations to exert control over people as well as the lengths families will go to keep their loved ones safe."

Who will feature in the docuseries? (Cast)
As mentioned, the documentary tells Miranda Derrick's story — and the story of numerous other dancers who, much like her, found themselves caught in the web of the Los Angeles-based 7M Films management company, led by owner Robert Shinn, who also serves as a pastor at the Shekinah Church.
Joining Miranda in this gripping tale is Melanie Wilking and her family, adding layers of intrigue to the narrative. However, the full cast lineup has not been revealed at this time.
