If there's one television genre that produces the most classics, it's comedy. And if there's one network that has perhaps produced the most classic comedy series, it's NBC. Cheers, Friends, Frasier, Seinfeld, Will & Grace, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, and so many more, including the cult favorite little comedy that could Community.

The series follows the various adventures of a study group full of larger-than-life personalities at Greendale Community College. Joel McHale leads the series as the disgraced but somehow still overconfident lawyer Jeff Winger and the ensemble includes Gillian Jacobs, Donald Glover, Alison Brie, Ken Jeong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Chevy Chase, and Jim Rash.

Community called Netflix its streaming home for four years but will be leaving in April 2024. It's the perfect time to binge-watch the series all over again and reunite with our Greendale favorites. Joel McHale was born on Nov. 20, 1971, making the Jeff Winger actor 52 years old as of February 2024. When he took on the starring role in Community in September 2009, he was 37 years old, and when the series came to an end in June 2015, he was 43 years old.

Prior to starring in the NBC comedy, McHale was best known as the host of E!'s The Soup beginning in 2004. He's appeared in such movies as Spider-Man 2, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, What's Your Number?, Ted, Blended, A Merry Friggin' Christmas, A Futile and Stupid Gesture, The Happytime Murders, Queenpins, and more.

After Community, McHale appeared in and hosted a number of television series, including The X-Files, Dr. Ken, The Great Indoors, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale, Santa Clarita Diet, The Masked Singer, Card Sharks, Stargirl, The Bear, and others. He currently stars in the Fox comedy series Animal Control.

In 1996, McHale married Sarah Williams and together they share two sons: Edward (age 18) and Isaac (age 15).

Gillian Jacobs was born on Oct. 19, 1982, making the Britta Perry actress 41 years old as of February 2024. She's nine years younger than her on-screen love interest Joel McHale. When Community premiered on NBC in September 2009, Jacobs was 26 years old, and after six seasons, she was 32 years old when the show ended in 2015.

After the series ended on Yahoo! Screen, Jacobs followed up a memorable guest starring role in HBO's Girls with the co-leading role in Netflix's romantic comedy series Love as Mickey Dobbs. She's also appeared in other small screen roles in shows like Invincible, Winning Time, Minx, Transatlantic, and The Bear.

You might have also seen Gillian Jacobs in such movies as Life Partners, Walk of Shame, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Life of the Party, Ibiza, Magic Camp, Come Play, the Fear Street trilogy, and more. Jacobs and The Bear creator Christopher Storer are in a relationship.

Danny Pudi was born on March 10, 1979, which means the Abed Nadir actor will be turning 45 years old in 2024. When he first starred playing the lovable television fanatic in the NBC comedy series, Pudi was 30 years old, and when the show ended in June 2015, he was 36.

Since the series ended, Pudi has appeared in such titles as The Tiger Hunter, Star Trek Beyond, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Flora & Ulysses, and American Dreamer. He reunited with Community costar Alison Brie in the 2023 film Somebody I Used to Know. In 2017, he was a series regular in the short-lived NBC comedy Powerless and voiced Huey Duck in DuckTales. Since 2020, he has starred in the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest. He also has a recurring role in Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender.

In 2004, Pudi married his college sweetheart Bridget Showalter and the couple have twins, a son and a daughter born in 2012.

Yvette Nicole Brown was born on Aug. 12, 1971, making the Shirley actress 52 years old as of February 2024 and the same age as costar Joel McHale. When we first met Shirley in September 2009, Brown was 38 years old, and when Brown last appeared in the series in 2015, she was 43 years old. She left the show as a series regular after season 5.

Brown has an extensive résumé of credits on both the big and small screen. Post-Community, her biggest roles were in titles such as Avengers: Endgame, Muppets Haunted Mansion, DC League of Super-Pets, Lady and the Tramp, Disenchanted, The Soul Man, The Odd Couple, The Mayor, Mom, Big Shot, Act Your Age, and many more.

Alison Brie was born on Dec. 29, 1982, which means the Annie Edison actress is 41 years old as of February 2024. When she started playing 19-year-old Annie in September 2009, Brie was actually 26 years old, the same age as Gillian Jacobs. When the show ended in 2015, she was 32. Although she played one of the youngest members of the study group, she's much older than her character in real life.

After Community and her breakthrough role in Mad Men, Brie has enjoyed a successful career in film and television. She appeared in two Netflix hit series, BoJack Horseman and GLOW, the latter of which earned her performance two Golden Globe nominations. She has appeared in such movies as Scream 4, The Five-Year Engagement, The Lego Movie, Get Hard, How to Be Single, The Disaster Artist, Happiest Season, and more. She also wrote and starred in the movies Horse Girl, Spin Me Round, and Somebody I Used to Know, which was directed by her husband Dave Franco. She'll next be seen in the Apple TV+ miniseries Apples Never Fall.

Brie began dating James Franco's brother and fellow actor Dave Franco in 2012 and they were engaged in 2015. The pair have been married since March 2017.

Donald Glover was born on Sept. 25, 1983, making the Troy actor 40 years old as of February 2024. When he started his breakout role in Community in September 2009, he was about to turn 26 years old. Glover left the series after season 5 in 2014 when he was 30.

After leaving the series, Glover continued to have a successful acting and Grammy-winning music career. He has released three albums as Childish Gambino, with his most recent fourth album released in 2020. On the big screen, he's appeared in movies such as The Lazarus Effect, Magic Mike XXL, The Martian, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and The Lion King. He created and starred in the hit series Atlanta for four seasons and co-created the series Swarm. He can most recently be seen in the Prime Video series Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Glover has been with Michell White since 2015 and recently revealed that they were married during the production of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The couple shares three sons together that were born in 2016, 2018, and 2020.

Ken Jeong was born on July 13, 1969, making the Ben Chang actor 54 years old as of February 2024 and a few years older than Joel McHale. When the breakout star of The Hangover started playing the devious Chang in the NBC comedy, he was 40 years old, and when the series wrapped up airing in June 2015, he was 45.

After Community ended, Jeong co-created the ABC sitcom Dr. Ken, which aired for two seasons from 2015 to 2017. He's also appeared in all three Hangover movies, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The DUFF, Ride Along 2, Crazy Rich Asians, and more. On the small screen, he's a judge on Fox's The Masked Singer and hosts the network's game show I Can See Your Voice. Jeong also had a series regular role in season 2 of the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty.

Jeong has been married to Tran Ho since 2004 and the couple has twin daughters that were born in 2007.

Chevy Chase was born on Oct. 8, 1943, making the Pierce Hawthorne actor 80 years old as of February 2024. When the series premiered in September 2009, the comedy legend was 65 years old. He left the series after season 4 but returned as a guest in season 5. Since he left the series on bad terms, he hasn't appeared in very many big movies or series apart from the 2015 Vacation reboot movie.

Jim Rash was born on July 15, 1971, making the hilarious Dean Pelton actor 52 years old as of February 2024. He's the same age as Joel McHale. When the series debuted in September 2009, Rash was 38 years old, and when it ended in June 2015, he was almost 44.

Apart from his work onscreen, he's also an Academy Award-winning writer, having written the screenplay for The Descendants. He also co-wrote and co-directed the films The Way Way Back and Downhill. He's also starred in such titles as Bros, Glee, The Writers' Room, Girlboss, Nobodies, DuckTales, Great News, Star Wars Resistance, Harley Quinn, American Housewife, and more.
