Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 soundtrack: All the songs in episodes 1-5
At long last, it's time to travel back to sunny California to catch up with our favorite karate students in Cobra Kai! The highly anticipated sixth season is here — part 1, anyway — following the fallout of the season 5 finale. They've mastered the All Valley tournament and have taken down Cobra Kai for now, but that doesn't mean there's nothing left to fight for. The students and senseis are training for the Sekai Taikai in season 6, an international tournament that's sure to test their discipline and skill more than ever before.
And of course, the threats the crew thought they said goodbye to in season 5 aren't actually gone. Though we only have the first five episodes of Cobra Kai season 6 so far, they're super entertaining episodes that get us hyped for what's to come! The next five episodes will drop in November, with a grand finale coming sometime in 2025. As we wait for the next batch of episodes to come out, let's take a look back at the fun songs throughout part 1:
Episode 1
- "Roll With the Changes" by REO Speedwagon
Episode 2
- “Crank It Up” by Valence & Brae
Episode 3
- "I Got the Moves" by David Hoffman, Raddicio Nash, and Dennis Padula
- "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper
Episode 4
- "You Want It All” by Go Betty Go
Episode 5
- “Raise the Flag” by Airbourne
- “Stay Young At Heart” by Headhunter
Per usual, the sixth season of Cobra Kai features a mix of upbeat pop songs to match the kids' vibes along with awesome classic rock music which definitely fits Johnny's playlist. As we'll see the Sekai Taikai in season 6 part 2, I'm sure we'll get more rock music to accompany the matches. Now, for who comes out victorious is another story. Especially now that Tory has joined the other side. Miyagi-Do might have the right intentions, but can they really beat Cobra Kai again now that Kreese is back with Kim Da-Eun? Plus, they have multiple other teams from around the world to worry about.
In season 6 part 2, we can anticipate tensions to be at an all-time high now that Tory has left Miyagi-Do, plus I'm sure we'll get to know others competing in the Sekai Taikai. Now, the big question remaining is — other than who will win, of course — how long the show will cover the tournament. The fact that we're already here in Barcelona, Spain ready to compete just five episodes in tells me we'll likely have an even bigger subplot to come after the Sekai Taikai. What that is, however, is anyone's guess!
