By Bryce Olin
It's unfortunately time to say goodbye to a few movies on Netflix. There are a number of big movies leaving Netflix at the end of June 2024.
We know you won't be able to watch the full list of movies leaving Netflix, so we picked the six best movies leaving the streamer by June 30. If you start tonight, you might be able to watch all, or at least a few of the movies, by the end of the month.
Let's get the list started with one of the best A24 movies on Netflix right now.
X
Last day to watch: June 30
Written and directed by Ti West, X is one of the best horror movies available to stream on Netflix, but it won't be for long. X is the first movie of West's series. The film stars Mia Goth, Martin Henderson, Brittany Snow, Scott Mescudi, also known as Kid Cudi, Jenna Ortega, Owen Campbell, and Stephen Ure.
X tells the story of a group of people filming an adult film in rural Texas in 1979. Star and producer, Wayne (Henderson), brings his girlfriend and fellow star, Maxine (Goth), to a couple's farm to film the movie over a few days to get rich and famous. They quickly find themselves in the middle of a nightmare.
Pearl, the prequel, is not on Netflix right now, and MaXXXine, the sequel, premieres in theaters on July 5, 2024.
The Holiday
Last day to watch: June 30
It's not Christmastime, but there's never a bad time to watch The Holiday. Unfortunately, one of the best romantic Christmas movies is leaving Netflix on June 30.
In The Holiday, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, and Rufus Sewell star. The film tells the story of two women, Amanda (Diaz), a film executive, and Iris (Winslet), a writer, who switch homes over the holidays for a change of pace. Unexpectedly, love reenters the picture for both!
The Holiday is one of the most iconic modern Christmas movies of all time. It's a long time until Christmas, but truly, this is a great movie to watch any time of the year!

If classic horror is more of your cup of tea, A Nightmare on Elm Street is the go-to movie to watch before it leaves Netflix at the end of June 2024.
A Nightmare on Elm Street was written and directed by Wes Craven. It premiered in 1984 and introduced audiences around the world to Freddy Krueger, played by Robert Englund, who became one of the most iconic horror villains of all time. Wanderlust
Last day to watch: June 30
We put a sneaky-good comedy on the list! I don't think many people have Wanderlust on their lists of movies that they need to watch or rewatch, but I'm telling you, Wanderlust is well worth another watch. It's such an underrated comedy!
Wanderlust premiered in theaters in 2012. It stars Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd as a married couple who are forced to move away from New York City after their careers crumble. On their way out, they discover a commune, and they try to give living there a chance, which exposes the many cracks in their relationship. Will they be able to salvage things, or is this the end of their relationship?
Hotel Transylvania
Last day to watch: June 30
Hotel Transylvania is always leaving and coming back to Netflix, but it's been on the streaming service for a while now, so it's probably going to be leaving for a while. Luckily, you have a few days to watch the movie before it leaves Netflix.
The hit animated comedy stars Adam Sandler as Dracula, who runs a getaway for all of monsterkind. When a human accidentally stumbles upon the hotel, Drac has to make sure no one finds out, which could ruin his business.
