Adam Sandler teaming up with George Clooney for Noah Baumbach's new Netflix movie

Emmy nominee Adam Sandler has been one of Netflix's main stars for a while now. He has starred in many Netflix movies over the years, such as the Murder Mystery film series, Hustle, Hubie Halloween, The Week Of, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah and many others.

Now, it's been announced that we'll see him next in a new untitled Netflix movie, and you won't believe who else is set to star in it. Not much is known about the film just yet, but we've gathered everything we know so far and shared it below.

Sandler's most recent Netflix project was the hit kid animated film Leo. He voiced a talking iguana named Leo, who after living in a school classroom for all his life, decides to escape to experience life on the outside. However, this time around, he'll be playing an undisclosed character in a live-action film.

Noah Baumbach, who is known for writing the screenplays and directing the movies The Squid and the Whale, Marriage Story and White Noise, is signed on to direct. Additionally, he co-wrote the screenplay with Emily Mortimer and is listed as a producer. Amy Pascal and David Heyman are also producing.

Sadly, plot details are being kept under wraps, but it's been described as a coming-of-age film about adults. It's also been described as being funny and emotional. Of course, any film starring Adam Sandler is bound to have funny elements to it so this isn't surprising.

Starring alongside Sandler is Academy Award-winning actor George Clooney. This will be the first time these two amazingly talented actors will star in a film together. We can't wait to see how the dynamic will be between their characters and how they'll play off each other.
