It's officially July 2024, which means we can expect a ton of new content on Netflix. But what we're most excited to check out is all the anime movies and shows set to be released throughout the month.

Sadly, Netflix won't be releasing that many anime titles in July, but the ones that will be coming out are definitely worth adding to your watchlist. Below, we shared a list of five thrilling anime movies and shows slated to drop on Netflix this month.

The Imaginary (2024)

Release date: July 5, 2024

The Imaginary is the perfect anime movie for the whole family to watch. It's a fantasy film coming from Studio Ponoc and it's based on the 2014 book of the same name by A.F. Harrold. The story centers around a young girl named Amanda and her imaginary friend, Rudger, whom only she can see. Through Amanda's imagination, they're able to go on thrilling make-believe adventures. That's until a sinister force threatens to destroy their imaginary world.

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie (2012)

Release date: July 7, 2024

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie sees Naruto and Sakura transported to an alternate reality where their friends' personalities are the polar opposite of their original demeanors, Naruto's parents are alive, and Sakura's parents are dead. Now, they must find a way to get back home.

The Last: Naruto the Movie (2014)

Release date: July 7, 2024

Set before the finale of the Naruto anime series, The Last: Naruto the Movie takes place two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, and Naruto is tasked with putting a stop to Toneri Otsutsuki, who is responsible for causing the moon to descend toward Earth. He's also tasked with saving Hinata Hyuga's younger sister, Hanabi, from Toneri's clutches.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie (2015)

Release date: July 7, 2024

Set several years after the end of the Shinobi War, Naruto's son Boruto is about to enter the Chunin exams alongside Sarada Uchiha (Sasuke and Sakura's daughter) and the mysterious Mitsuki. However, he's upset at his father for spending more time on his duties as the Seventh Hokage than his family. When he learns that Naruto will be watching the Chunin exams, he enlists the help of Sasuke to assist him with training. But while the exams initially go smoothly, things take a left turn when a new threat suddenly appears and terrorizes their village.

T・P BON season 2 (2024)

Release date: July 17, 2024

In T・P BON season 2, Bon is officially a Time Patrol agent and he's ready to tackle on more rescue missions consisting of traveling through time to save innocent lives from the past. He also has the duty of mentoring his new assistant, Yumiko.
