3. The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy is another major show on Netflix that's sadly coming to an end in 2024. The quirky superhero show follows a group of adopted siblings, each with unique powers, who come together every season to save the world from the apocalypse. This show is unique in the best ways and is both action-packed and emotional.

The series was renewed for a fourth and final season, and given that filming had concluded before the writers' and actors' strikes could impact production, we were hoping it would be released by the end of 2023. That didn't happen, however, but Netflix has confirmed it's coming out sometime in 2024.

Ritu Arya, who plays Lila Pitts in The Umbrella Academy, says the final installment is "the best season yet." Here's to hoping we feel the same!

4. Big Mouth

The raunchiest show on Netflix is coming to an end after an impressive eight seasons, making it the longest-running scripted original series on the platform! Of course, we're talking about Big Mouth. The hilarious animated show never fails to make us laugh and cringe season after season and we're sure the final installment won't be an exception!

The series follows a group of middle school students as they tackle the challenging and awkward experience of puberty and growing up. The very funny Nick Kroll co-created the show and voices one of the main characters Nick, with fellow comedian John Mulaney voicing his best friend Andrew.

Big Mouth season 8 is confirmed for a 2024 release, though an exact date has not been announced at the time of this writing.
