It’s never a good day when you see that dreaded “Leaving Soon” tag on Netflix. A chill runs down your spine as you realize that a movie you’ve been meaning to watch, or one you’ve been planning to rewatch for comfort or nostalgia, will soon vanish from your library. And the sad reality is that there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

Licensed films, for all their excitement, come with expiration dates. Unlike Netflix originals that stay put indefinitely, these movies are temporary tenants in the streaming world. They can be here today and gone tomorrow, whisked away by contracts, licensing agreements, or decisions made far beyond your control.

Sadly, Netflix subscribers are about to lose one of the most intense and underrated action thrillers in Mark Wahlberg’s career. The streaming giant has set its official removal date, and its departure is closer than you think. In just a week, Four Brothers will no longer be available for subscribers to watch and enjoy on the streaming platform.

Four Brothers starring Mark Wahlberg is set to leave Netflix in March 2026

Every month, Netflix reveals its complete lineup of shows and movies slated to arrive and leave its platform. Unfortunately for the March 2026 list, Four Brothers was included in the section for departures. Luckily, it wasn't one of the licensed films to depart earlier in the month. Instead, it was given a departure date closer to the end of March.

Now, that date is almost here. On March 20, 2026, Four Brothers will be officially removed from Netflix. This means the last day to watch this forgotten action thriller is March 19. If you forget, you can always check out the movie's title page on Netflix. The streaming giant has set a reminder. That said, you don't want to wait until the last minute to watch or rewatch this movie.

Behind the camera, Four Brothers was directed by the late John Singleton. This is the same acclaimed filmmaker known for helming other action movies like Boyz n the Hood, Shaft, and 2 Fast 2 Furious. In addition, David Elliot and Paul Lovett wrote the screenplay.

The film begins with the tragic murder of Evelyn Mercer, a kind-hearted woman who raised four adopted sons as her own. When she is killed during what appears to be a random convenience-store robbery, her grown sons reunite in Detroit for her funeral. While authorities call it a botched robbery, the brothers quickly suspect that their mother’s death was anything but random. The execution-style killing hints at a deeper conspiracy, and the Mercer brothers refuse to let justice go unanswered.

Wahlberg stars in one of the leading roles as Bobby Mercer, the hot-headed eldest brother whose anger and determination drive much of the action. Joining him in the cast are other well-known actors such as Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin, Garrett Hedlund, Terrence Howard, Josh Charles, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Although Four Brothers will be leaving Netflix soon, there are many other action thriller films starring Wahlberg that will still be available to stream on the platform. We recommend checking out movies such as Deepwater Horizon, Spenser Confidential, Lone Survivor, and The Union.

Four Brothers is scheduled to leave Netflix on March 20. Don't forget to save the date!
