Nobody Wants This season 3 trailer teases Joanne and Noah's push toward marriage

The countdown is on for the impending return of Kristen Bell and Adam Brody in their Emmy Award-nominated Netflix romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This. Thankfully, our annual return to the hilarious world of Joanne and Noah brings a brand new chapter for the couple, and in season 3, they are finally moving forward without fear or hesitation, though some of that could be creeping in.

When Nobody Wants This season 3 premieres on Oct. 22, we will be catching back up with Joanne and Noah as they move in together, and as the newly released trailer showcases, the couple couldn't be more excited to be living under the same roof. The couple continuously looks at each other with a gleeful disbelief and enthusiasm before saying, "We live together!"

It's no wonder Joanne and Noah are taking in each moment as it hits them after being able to claim this milestone in their relationship was so hard fought. We watched throughout the first two seasons as everyone from Noah's mother to his congregation to Joanne's own doubts threatened to disrupt their true love. But as the trailer reveals, those naysayers now appear to be pushing for marriage.

Throughout the Nobody Wants This season 3 trailer, Joanne and Noah don't allow what other people are continuing to say about them and their relationship interfere with their relationship. They are self aware that people believe Noah would be happier with a Jewish woman or that he "threw his life away," but they are committed and Joanne's taking her Judaism conversion classes.

Apparently, Noah's mother Bina has accepted Noah's decision to be with Joanne so much that she's leaning fully in and preparing Joanne for her role as a rebbetzin, which is the title given to a rabbi's wife. The preparation comes with a full makeover that looks an awful lot like something straight out of Bina's closet. But the realization that she's now being primed for marriage hits Joanne hard.

She's shocked, sure, but that's likely because the topic of marriage hadn't come up as they settled into living together and taking the next steps toward conversion. But Joanne could possibly be falling into Bina's trap. If she wasn't able to stop the relationship before, perhaps the unsubtle nudge to get married is Bina's new means of spooking Joanne and sabotaging the relationship.

We could be thinking of it too cynically. Maybe Bina has finally come to terms with her son's relationship, but you never know. Elsewhere in the Nobody Wants This season 3 trailer, Joanne and Noah's siblings are starting over. Morgan (Justine Lupe) and Sasha (Timothy Simons) are newly single and commiserating on finding themselves in an uncomfortable, unknown time of their lives.

Would it be weird if Joanne's sister and Noah's brother started dating? Yes, but the pair have had chemistry since the first season, and it might be time for the show to really explore that for the first time, especially with Esther (Jackie Tohn) deciding to date and seemingly striking up a romance with Chicago Med star Steven Weber. We'll have to wait and see what happens!
