Time Cut

Watch! While it doesn't have much to do with Halloween, the new teen horror movie Time Cut was released the day before Halloween and manages to perfectly fit the holiday's vibe. In the movie, a modern teenager travels back in time to 2003 on a mission to save the older sister she never met from being killed by the Sweetly Slasher serial killer.

It's a super fun movie that features two Netflix stars in the lead — Outer Banks' Madison Bailey and Ginny & Georgia's Antonia Gentry — and an incredibly nostalgic throwback soundtrack. If you're a fan of slasher movies but don't love how violent and gory they can get, Time Cut sticks to a PG-13 rating and can be a Halloween night watch for families with older children.

Don't Move

Watch! For those looking for a straightforward horror movie with in-your-face frights, there's a reason Don't Move has been one of the most popular movies on Netflix since its release. It's seriously chilling as it tells the story of a woman who has been drugged and must outrun a serial killer before her body becomes completely paralyzed and immobile.

The survival thriller probably isn't as scary to tried and true horror movie buffs, but Don't Move has the capacity to make your skin crawl a bit all the same. If you have already watched Don't Move and don't want to watch it again on Halloween, keep scrolling for even more scary Netflix movie recommendations that will keep you from turning the lights off.

LOUPS GAROUS
Family Pack

Family Pack

Skip! If you're browsing the Netflix homepage and stop to take a peek at the top 10 most popular movies ranking, you will see Family Pack among those titles on Halloween. Based on the card game The Werewolves of Millers Hollow, the French fantasy comedy centers on a family that finds themselves back in the Middle Ages to take on a larger-than-life adventure.

You could do much worse than Family Pack for your post-trick-or-treating family movie night on Halloween, but you could also probably do a bit better when it comes to getting into the Halloween spirit. It's a fun family movie, which Netflix has plenty more of in terms of family-friendly spooky and Halloween-centric movies. Check below for even more family recommendations!
