Netflix is losing 22 movies and series this week (Feb. 10, 2025)

It is always hard to say goodbye. Of course, to be honest, once a movie or series leaves Netflix unless it is a Netflix original, then the film or show is probably going to end up on some other streamer. Still, you don't want to have to subscribe to yet another service just to see a handful of shows. Netflix has almost all of what you need.

But if you need the movies or programs below, you will only have a short bit of time to catch them. They will leave Netflix this week, only to be replaced by other great stuff. But one of the below might be your favorite ever. Let's hope they return soon to your favorite streaming service.

Part of the items going away this week include a bunch of the Fast and the Furious films. These had no business ever being as good as they were or even needing so many sequels. And yet. almost all of the films are worth watching. They are surprisingly smartly written and well-conceived.

We will also say goodbye to a fantastically funny Christmas movie. Let's not lie to ourselves and pretend we only watch holiday films during the holiday season. Who isn't going to turn on Love Actually in June? Great escapism is great escapism no matter the time of year, and A Bad Moms Christmas is just that. At least, until February 11.

There are also sneaky good films leaving Netflix this week. The Catcher Was a Spy, starring Paul Rudd, is about a baseball player-turned-spy. Critics might not love it, but audiences mostly do. Pearl is a gem of a horror film but is sadly leaving this week as well.
