Netflix is dropping 28 movies and series this week (February 23, 2025)

Saying goodbye is always hard, especially when we might be watching some of our favorite movies or series leaving Netflix. Maybe we can find what is left on some other streamer, but who wants to take the time to do that? (OK, maybe many people do, and we are just lazy here on this site.) Maybe you can even buy the DVDs of these shows if you still have a DVD player.

The issue with this week is that it is the end of the month so there are a lot of things leaving our favorite streamer. Out with the old, and in with a bunch of new stuff that we will love. Such is the way of the streaming world.

In the case of the excellent Brooklyn Nine-Nine, if you haven't yet started watching the series, but want to, you have just a few days left to watch the first and second seasons. It is one of the many series to leave on the last day of this short month. We promise it is the kind of hilarity that will keep you smiling well after you have turned your TV off or shut your computer down.

Netflix is saying goodbye to some great films and series this week

If you want one more chance to watch (and make fun of) Green Lantern, you have until the 28th to do that. Heck, even Ryan Reynolds, the star of the film, disrespects the flick. Why? Well, if you watch it, you will know.

The Mindy Project is quite funny through all six seasons, but you will have to rush to watch the entire series. It is also gone on the last day of the month. Just call off from work and binge-watch the show. You might lose your job, sure, but at least you will be laughing before that happens.
