Netflix boss just confirmed these 11 popular shows will be returning in 2026

We've reached the end of the year, but Netflix still has plenty to offer before the curtain closes on 2025. As the holiday season approaches, the streaming giant is pulling out all the stops with a packed lineup of new movies, returning fan-favorite shows, and many new shows that are sure to keep viewers entertained. Yes, we're talking about you, Stranger Things season 5!

But with the year wrapping up, that means it's time to really start thinking about what's all to come in the new year. Luckily, Netflix just gave us an exciting sneak peek into what’s ahead, and it’s looking massive. During the streamer’s recent Q3 earnings call, CEO Ted Sarandos announced that 11 of Netflix’s most beloved shows are officially returning in 2026. While some of these series were already confirmed to be coming back next year, it's good to know that nothing has changed in Netflix’s plans

Bridgerton season 4 is one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2026. The last time we saw the hit period drama on our screens was back in 2024, so the wait has definitely been a long one for fans of the Regency-era romance.

This new season will shift its focus to Benedict Bridgerton and his pursuit of love. After setting his eyes on the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mom's famed masquerade ball, it's pretty much love at first sight. But, as always, love in the Bridgerton world comes with plenty of obstacles.
