My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 premiere reveals George’s fate

As My Life with the Walter Boys season 2 came to a close, we thought that the biggest plot twist would be Jackie and Cole admitting their feelings for each other as Alex overheard the entire conversation. Just when Alex came out to confront the pair, the show threw an unexpected curveball our way when Will rolled up on a four-wheeler as an ambulance pulled up at the house. 

Cole quickly asked his brother what was going on, which was when Will revealed to the group that it was George. That’s when the episode cut to black, leaving fans to wonder what had happened to George and whether he would survive whatever health scare resulted in an ambulance being called. 

As season 3 opens, we’re transported right back to the night of the season 2 finale as George is rushed into the hospital. We learn that George has suffered a suspected stroke as the doctors race him in for further evaluation as Katherine, Jackie, and the kids all wait outside for answers. 

When we next see George, he’s been moved to a hospital room but remains unconscious as we see Katherine by his side. It doesn’t look good for George, but as the episode continues, we come to learn that he regains consciousness, and it thankfully looks like he’s going to pull through. 

Weeks pass, and Dr. Segil informs Katherine that George has pulled through the worst of it, but he has a long recovery ahead of him, which we see unfold across the season as he works to build up his strength. 

George has another health scare late in the season

As My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 progresses, we watch George work to regain his strength and reclaim his life, and his recovery has both highs and lows. The lowest of those lows comes in the ninth episode of the season when George stumbles on his way down the stairs and drops a box he was carrying. 

After his near fall, George assures Katherine he’s fine, but his face after she leaves the room says otherwise. Wanting to err on the side of caution, George calls Dr. Segil and goes in for an appointment. 

Later, he brings Katherine up to speed as he informs her that the checkup was routine with his vitals being checked and Dr. Segil giving him a physical exam, which all looked normal. He also ordered a CAT scan and MRI just to be safe and make sure everything is okay. 

Thankfully, the test results all come back clean with no signs of a mini-stroke, though George definitely had us worried there for a minute! Given how the season ended, we really worried that something bad was going to happen to George at the top of the season. His health scare late in the season had us worried that the writers gave us false hope only to have something happen to George when we least suspected it.

The good news is that while it was a rough season for George, he survived his brush with death and there is a lot more story to tell as My Life with the Walter Boys season 4 is happening!
