But there's one particular Netflix teen series that fans truly can't get enough of. It's My Life with the Walter Boys. With the highly anticipated third season confirmed to be released sometime this year, everyone's been patiently waiting for the official release date.

While Netflix is still keeping these juicy deets under wraps for now, at least we've learned some new information about the upcoming My Life with the Walter Boys season 4. Oh, you didn't know? On May 13, Netflix officially renewed the heartfelt teen series for a fourth installment ahead of the third season's release. That means we get at least one more season of Jackie and her complicated love triangle with Cole and Alex.

But that's not the latest update. The newest development involves a filming start date for My Life with the Walter Boys season 4! According to a recent report, we might now have an idea of when the cameras will start rolling on the fourth season.

According to What's on Netflix, the cast and crew are reportedly set to return to Alberta, Canada, to shoot My Life with the Walter Boys season 4 in June 2026. The news outlet reports that filming is scheduled to start on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Of course, that's a little over a month away from now. However, it's worth mentioning that neither Netflix nor the show's creative team has actually confirmed this start date or said anything about the filmmaking process.

That said, we can only treat this information as a rumor until an official confirmation is released. But we wouldn't be surprised if principal photography actually starts in June. It's not often that What's on Netflix is off the mark when it comes to production updates for Netflix originals. That's just something to keep in mind!

Now, let's say production actually gets started on June 27. Seasons 2 and 3 each took a little over three months to film. Our guess is that filming for My Life with the Walter Boys season 4 will take about the same amount of time. If this ends up being the case, then we could potentially see the cameras stop rolling sometime in September 2026.

Obviously, the new episodes will then have to enter post-production. That's where they'll spend the most time before being released on Netflix. But where does that put the release date? Well, we know for certain that My Life with the Walter Boys season 4 will not be released in 2026. That just wouldn't make sense, and Netflix has already confirmed a 2027 release.
