Stranger Things stars David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown have been teasing a new project that they're ready to work on together for a few weeks. Now, we finally know what it is.
Just months after Stranger Things ended on New Year's Eve 2025, Harbour and Brown are set to work together again on a massive new Netflix series from Adolescence creator Jack Thorne, according to a report from Deadline.
The pair who played the father-daughter duo of Hopper and Eleven for five seasons in Stranger Things will be playing another father-daughter duo in Thorne's new Netflix series, which doesn't have a name.
What's David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown's new Netflix show about?
Harbour and Brown's new show is based on Paul Warner's novel, A Spy in the Blood. Although it's untitled, Deadline did reveal the synopsis for the upcoming spy thriller starring Harbour and Brown.
"In the series, disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him back into a field that has evolved beyond him."
Of course, fans aren't the only ones who are excited about this project that will reunite Brown and Harbour. Netflix is also excited to bring this incredible team together. In a statement, Jinny Howe, the Netflix head of scripted series, said: "We are delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with before."

This show is the perfect move for Brown, Harbour, and Netflix
Although Stranger Things has been over for months, there's definitely an appetite for more from this world. Netflix has a few Stranger Things series in the works, including the animated series, Stranger Things: Tales from '85, and the upcoming prequel series that the Duffer brothers have teased.
Despite the daily "news" updates that Stranger Things will return with new episodes, this show is done and dusted for now. It's over, and fans need to find a new show. Well, this might be it!
Of course, a spy series isn't going to move all Stranger Things fans, but getting Harbour and Brown back on screen soon is a super smart movie.
Beyond that, this show actually sounds amazing. Sure, it has a similar premise to FUBAR, but Thorne is a genius. He's delivered hit after hit for Netflix with Enola Holmes, which also stars Brown, and Adolescence.
Brown and Harbour are so incredibly talented. Everything they've done since Stranger Things premiered has been excellent. Even if some of those projects didn't pan out critically, Brown and Harbour have been turning in some incredible performances outside of Stranger Things. I'm excited to see this show brought to life.
Unfortunately, we don't have much more information to share outside of the project announcement. No other cast members have been announced so far, but it's safe to assume that the cast of this show is going to be quite impressive.
We also don't know when to expect the series to premiere. Just looking at how long these things take, if production doesn't start this year, it's likely going to be late 2027 or 2028 before the new spy series hits Netflix.
We'll share more news about the series as we find out. Stay tuned!
