Meet Me Next Christmas soundtrack: Every festive song in the movie
By Reed Gaudens
The holiday season has officially started on Netflix with the release of the streamer's first new original Christmas romantic comedy Meet Me Next Christmas on Nov. 6. There's no better movie to help jump start Netflix's run of four star-studded Christmas rom-com movies than the music-filled new movie starring Christina Milian and featuring Pentatonix.
In Meet Me Next Christmas, Milian plays Layla wants to find her ultimate fairytale romance, and in order to do so, she does everything she can to land tickets to Pentatonix's sold out concert on Christmas Eve in New York City. But will the man of her dreams be too good to be true? Considering it's Christmas, Layla's sure to get everything on her wish list.
Beyond the heartwarming romance in Christmas romantic comedies, the other best part of these movies, especially Meet Me Next Christmas, is the soundtrack. Since it's starring an actress who's also known as a singer and centers around a Pentatonix Christmas concert, you know the music is going to be festive, fun, and unforgettable. Let's get into all of the songs!
Meet Me Next Christmas soundtrack
Throughout the movie, there are seven Pentatonix songs featured, including original songs from their various Christmas albums that have been released in the past 10 years. The title of the movie originates from the a cappella group's song of the same name "Meet Me Next Christmas," which was released the week before the movie's release on Nov. 1.
