Leanne prepares to turn 60 in the Leanne season 2 trailer
On top of Leanne living with her parents, played by Celia Weston and Blake Clark, she's also being a doting daughter by accompanying them to their doctors' appointments. The trailer features a funny bit where Leanne doesn't deny her parents when the allude to them being a burden. (Obviously, they aren't and it's just a bit meant for humor!) But that's not the only change headed for Leanne...
The Leanne season 2 trailer opens with Carol (Kristen Johnston) approaching the subject of Leanne's upcoming 60th birthday, which seems to really be distressing Leanne. After all, reaching a new decade of life is a major milestone, especially considering that Leanne's life turned completely upside down last year when Bill (Ryan Stiles) left her after over 30 years of marriage.
Now a grandmother and moving on in her personal life with new love interests, Leanne season 2 also seems to have Leanne exploring other options in her love life, including a potential date with new guest star Billy Gardell and renewed feelings for her ex-husband. But don't worry, Tim Daly is also back as as her FBI agent boyfriend Andrew, but he might have some competition.
There's another hilarious moment in the trailer that finds Leanne and Carol entering a bar, and while she thinks she's about to have a "Harry Styles" moment with the handsome man who appears to be interested in her, she's actually being pursued by Gardell's overly enthusiastic character. The adventures never cease for Leanne Murphy's new chapter in life and love.

In addition to Morgan, Johnston, Stiles, Weston, Clark, and Daly, the Leanne season 2 cast also includes Jayma Mays, Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes, and Andrea Anders. The Netflix sitcom, which comes from The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre, welcomes more guest stars beyond Gardell with the likes of Lainey Wilson, Jaime Pressly, Tyne Daly, and Benim Foster dropping by.
If there's a downside to Leanne season 2, it's that compared to the super-sized 16-episode order for the first season, the second season only contains 10 episodes. That's six fewer episodes than last time, making the new season's binge-watch fly by even faster. But start from the beginning and you'll have a mega 26-episode marathon waiting for you on your watch list!
