Here comes Santa Claus? No, Santa Claus is so over! This year, it's all about Chad Michael Murray thanks to his starring role in the hot new Netflix original Christmas romantic comedy The Merry Gentlemen. On top of his sexy new role, Murray's really giving us a reason to celebrate with his companion calendar that will have you feeling festive every day of 2025.
One week before the release of The Merry Gentlemen on Nov. 20, Netflix revealed the very nearly NSFW photoshoot that featured 12 shirtless pictures of Chad Michael Murray themed to a month of the year. (See for yourself below!) The streaming service teased the spread as a promotional calendar photoshoot timed to the male dance revue-themed movie, but...
Guess what? You can actually purchase the Chad Michael Murray calendar!
As Murray revealed in a video on his and Netflix's Instagram accounts, the actor posed for the photoshoot not just for The Merry Gentlemen but for an actually real calendar you can hang on your wall. If you haven't found it already ready, we're sharing with fans just how to place your order for your new favorite calendar. (No judgment if it's still on your wall after next year.)
Murray is selling autographed copies of the calendar on his own website for $60 per calendar. While that number sounds steep for an item that only has one year of use, the website explains that a portion of the proceeds from every calendar sold will be donated to benefit the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. So, not only are you fulfilling your teen crush on Lucas Scott, you're doing a good deed.
According to the website, each copy of the Twelve Months of Chad Michael Murray are hand signed by the actor and are limited edition, so get them while they're hot! And as you have seen from the photos above, yeah, they're hot all right. Murray teases that it's the perfect white elephant gift for holiday parties this year, but who would possibly give up a copy of this calendar?
Murray's back on screen this fall as Luke in The Merry Gentlemen alongside fellow former CW star Britt Robertson. The movie centers on a woman helping save her parents' small town theater by throwing an all-male dance revue around the holidays, which finds the hunky men stripping down and channeling their inner Magic Mike. Of course, romance will bloom, too.
Beyond his work in the Netflix holiday movie, Murray also stars in The CW's drama series Sullivan's Crossing, but it's the rumblings about Netflix's in-the-works One Tree Hill revival series that has fans wondering if we could be seeing Lucas Scott once more. He recently addressed the revival reports saying, "I really want some iteration of this show to come back for the fans," but not hinting any potential involvement.
