The popular Netflix show that everyone's been waiting on to return is finally back. It's been a long time coming, but Stranger Things 5 has finally premiered on Netflix, and everyone's taking time to reacquaint themselves with the Hawkins gang. Among them, one new face is catching everyone’s attention.

It's the character, Holly Wheeler, aka Nancy and Mike's younger sister. Technically, Holly is not a new character. She's been a part of the hit sci-fi series since the very beginning. However, she was recast for the fifth and final season after the character was given a much more substantial role. She is now played by Nell Fisher, who is still relatively new to the entertainment industry but has starred in enough projects to make her recognizable.

Before joining the cast of Stranger Things 5 as the recast Holly Wheeler, Fisher made a major impression in the horror world with her standout performance in Evil Dead Rise. She played the role of Kassie, the youngest of Ellie's three children, who finds themselves trapped in a nightmarish, demon-infested apartment building.

Prior to this project, she had a short two-episode stint in the Australian-New Zealand series My Life Is Murder and a role in the action thriller flick Northspur. In the same year that Evil Dead Rise came out, another movie starring Fisher was also released. She played the role of Luisa in the interactive romantic comedy Choose Love. But her most recent acting work was in the 2024 adventure comedy film Bookworm, in which she starred opposite Elijah Wood.

Fisher hasn't been in anything else since then, which is why it's exciting to see her take on such a pivotal role in Stranger Things 5. Without spoiling any plot points surrounding her Holly character, Netflix shared in its cast guide for the fifth season that Holly struggles at school and feels somewhat out of place. To cope with these struggles, she relies on an imaginary friend.

Given that Fisher is still really young and a newcomer to the acting world, not much is known about her. However, Famous Birthdays reports that she was born on Nov. 2, 2011, in London, England. This makes her currently 14 years old, and her zodiac sign Scorpio. She is believed to be 5 feet 1 inch tall as well. In addition, she's one of the youngest Stranger Things cast members.

According to her dad, who spoke with Time Magazine, Fisher had grown four inches since she was first cast in the sci-fi series, which caused the costume department to refit her dress multiple times throughout production.
