Harlan Coben's I Will Find You just became the fifth-biggest Netflix show ever

Harlan Coben's I Will Find You has reached new heights, continuing the biggest mystery of the summer's historic run.

In its latest ratings drop, Netflix confirmed I Will Find You is officially the streamer's fifth-biggest Netflix show of all time. Only Squid Game, Wednesday, Adolescence, and Stranger Things have had bigger debuts on Netflix.

Since its premiere on June 18, 2026, I Will Find You has racked up 117.5 million views, less than two million views short of Wednesday season 2. The new Harlan Coben series spent 10 weeks on the Netflix Top 10 TV shows list. The last week of August was the first time I Will Find You missed out on the Netflix Top 10.

If enough Netflix viewers tune in over the next couple of weeks, we should see I Will Find You surpass Wednesday season 2 on the Netflix Top 10.

Currently, I Will Find You sits at No. 6 on the all-time Netflix Top 10 behind Wednesday season 1 and season 2, Adolescence, and then the final two seasons of Stranger Things. Squid Game, which occupies the first three slots of the Netflix Top 10 TV list for non-English shows, is officially the biggest Netflix release of all time.

Essentially, what this means is that I Will Find You is the ninth-biggest Netflix season release ever. Here's the list of the top 10 Netflix season releases ever:

For context, Netflix shares data for new movies and shows over the title's first three months after release. It calculates "views" by taking the total time watched and dividing it by the show or movie's runtime.

While we know Coben's Netflix projects have been popular, I don't think anyone predicted I Will Find You would be this big of a hit for Netflix. I Will Find You is Coben's first American Netflix show, so perhaps that's why this one is so popular. Fans are used to most of Coben's shows being set in England or other countries in Europe.

I Will Find You tells the story of a man, David Burroughs (Sam Worthington), who was convicted for killing his son. When he learns that his son might still be alive, David does everything he can to find him and also clear his name.

Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Jonathan Tucker, Madeleine Stowe, Peter Outerbridge, Hugh Thompson, and Chi McBride round out the rest of the cast.

There are only six episodes in I Will Find You, so it's a quick binge-watch. If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend watching the new series as soon as you can.

Netflix has more shows based on Coben's works coming soon! The Woods starring Tom Bateman and Michelle Keegan should wrap filming in England soon, and it should be released early next year. Myron Bolitar, the second of Coben's American shows, is currently in production and will be released next year, as well.
