Finishing Nemesis season 1 on Netflix leaves you in that familiar spot. You’re not really ready to move on, but you also don’t want something that feels like a downgrade. That said, the goal isn’t to find “similar” shows in a strict sense. It’s more about finding that same tension again.

In this article, we've put together a list of three gripping Netflix shows to watch after Nemesis season 1. We've decided to kick off the list with a smooth, stylish thief narrative, moving into a messy psychological mystery, and ending with a full-blown revenge story.

Lupin
Omar Sy as Assane Diop in Lupin | Netflix/Emmanuel Guimier

Lupin (2021-)

There’s a reason Lupin became a global hit almost instantly. It’s just fun to watch someone always be three steps ahead.

The series follows Assane Diop, a man who turns himself into a modern-day gentleman thief inspired by the fictional Arsène Lupin. But this isn’t just a show about stealing things for the thrill of it. Everything Assane does is tied to one deep personal wound. His father was framed by a wealthy family for a crime he didn’t commit, and it destroyed his life.

Years later, Assane sets out to correct that injustice in the most unconventional way possible. That's by becoming a master of disguise and deception, relying on intelligence and planning rather than violence.

What makes Lupin so addictive is how effortless it looks. Assane doesn’t brute-force his way through problems. He manipulates situations, changes identities, and turns other people’s assumptions against them. One moment he’s blending into a crowd, the next he’s inside a heavily secured building without anyone realizing how he got there.

It has that same Nemesis feeling of watching a mastermind operate on a completely different level from everyone chasing him. The difference is that Lupin leans more playful and stylish, almost like watching a magician perform tricks you can’t quite figure out even after they’re explained. Overall, the show is clever, fast, and surprisingly emotional underneath all the disguises and heists.

His & Hers

His & Hers (2026)

His & Hers takes a very different approach. Instead of flashy heists or big criminal operations, this one slows things down and makes everything feel more intimate and a lot more uncomfortable.

The series starts with a murder in a small Georgia town. Nothing too unusual at first glance, until two estranged spouses end up pulled into the same investigation from opposite sides. Anna Andrews is a former TV journalist trying to piece her life back together, while Jack Harper is a detective assigned to the case. And yes, they’re still married. However, just barely.

At first, His & Hers feels like a standard murder mystery. But the further the show goes, the more things start to blur. Anna starts digging into the case herself, and Jack starts questioning whether she knows more than she’s letting on. And slowly, the investigation becomes less about solving a crime and more about figuring out who’s actually being honest.

Like Nemesis, His & Hers thrives on obsession. But instead of two adversaries locked in a criminal war, His & Hers focuses on two emotionally entangled people who may be unknowingly circling the same truth from different angles.

Man on Fire season 1
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as John Creasy in Episode 108 of Man on Fire | Juan Rosas/Netflix

Man on Fire (2026-)

The final entry shifts into full-scale action with Man on Fire. It's a revenge-driven thriller centered on a broken man forced back into violence.

The series follows John Creasy, a former Special Forces operative struggling with PTSD and deep trauma after a past mission resulted in the deaths of his entire team. Now living in isolation and disconnected from the world, Creasy has no intention of returning to conflict. That's until tragedy forces his hand.

A devastating bombing destroys the home of his closest friend and kills his entire family, leaving behind only a young survivor. Creasy then becomes the teenage girl's protector, forming a bond that slowly pulls him back toward purpose and stability.

However, what begins as protection quickly transforms into something far more dangerous. As Creasy hunts those responsible, he uncovers a conspiracy involving corruption, intelligence operations, and political manipulation that stretches far beyond a single act of violence.

The deeper he goes, the clearer it becomes that the bombing was not random. Every answer leads to more danger, and every step forward pushes Creasy further into the violent world he has been trying so hard to escape.
