Blake Lively stars in Gossip Girl as the "it girl" of the Upper East Side, the elusive and mysterious yet bubbly and beautiful Serena van der Woodsen. She's the best friend (and often enemy) of Blair Waldorf and the daughter of socialite Lily van der Woodsen. Serena had various romances in the series, including Dan and Nate.

Prior to taking on the leading role of The CW teen drama, Lively starred in the teen movies Accepted and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Since the series ended, she has enjoyed a film career with hits such as The Town, Green Lantern, The Age of Adaline, The Shallows, A Simple Favor, and It Ends with Us.

Blair also had a polarizing relationship with Dan Humphrey later in the series.

During and after her time on Gossip Girl, Meester starred in a number of movies, including Country Strong, The Roommate, Monte Carlo, That's My Boy, Life Partners, The Weekend Away, River Wild, and EXmas. She guest starred on a number of TV shows pre-GG and later returned to the small screen in Single Parents and How I Met Your Father.

He returned to television in 2018 with his starring role in the Lifetime-turned-Netflix original series You as stalker and serial killer Joe Goldberg. In 2024, Badgley starred in Ariana Grande's music video for "The Boy Is Mine."

Outside of acting, Badgley is also a musician in the band MOTHXR, and he also co-hosts the Podcrushed podcast with Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari. The actor married singer Domino Kirke in 2017 and became the stepfather to her son. Together, the couple have a son named James, who was born in 2020.
