One of the great things about this year's finale of Stranger Things is that fans have no idea what will happen. This is also a bit scary, of course. The series creators, the Duffer brothers, must stick the landing, or the rest of the show will seem worse. So far, we have received brilliance, but that needs to be sustained through the ending.

Not only have we watched the characters grow older, but many key actors have spent much of their adolescence together. It is a bit like going to high school for 10 years. It will be hard to say goodbye.

Some of the actors have already gone on to other successes. Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) is part of a different franchise, Enola Holmes. She probably has a wonderful career, and she is just at the beginning of it all.

Finn Wolfhard gets real about the ending of Stranger Things

Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) was fantastic in the fifth season of Fargo and had a role in the excellent Free Guy. He is also likely going to have a tremendous career.

So might Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), who has appeared in the last two Ghostbusters films. As far as filming the final episodes of Stranger Things, though? That left the actor conflicted.

In a recent talk with People, Wolfhard said he was "very confused" by ending the iconic series. Of course, he did not give away details of the last episodes, as he shouldn't, but his words still illuminated the emotions of ending the show. Even trying to verbalize how he felt about the finale was difficult.

Wolfhard said, "I was so happy with his ending, and I don't know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy... I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect."

Hopefully, for Stranger Things fans, the series itself will end perfectly. Will we get the answers to all our questions, and will good win in the end, whatever is good and evil? Will Eddie still be playing Metallica at some point? There is so much more to know.

The series will drop on Netflix in two parts later in 2025. The shows might be longer than previous seasons, so we might feel we are getting two seasons in one. We still won't want the show to end, though.
