It’s time again to check up on what everyone has been watching on Netflix. The lists of the most viewed movies and shows for the week have been updated on TUDUM. Have a look at the top five lists below or the new movies and shows added this week to see which you should add to your watch list
There are two new entries on the top five movies list, an action thriller and a romantic comedy. They add to the mix of comedy and fantasy animation which continue their run. Back in Action, the Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx spy movie drops, out.
On the top five shows list it’s a very varied collection of styles and shows. There is a brand new entry straight in at the top. It’s gripping viewing for sure. There’s also the return of a long-term favorite show as more episodes are released.

5 - Shrek 2
The power of bringing a film back to the Netflix platform is evident again this week. The second movie in the Shrek series is still a hot view for many since it reappeared in the movie list this month. Watch Shrek and Fiona post-honeymoon as they visit Far Far Away land.
4 - Shrek
You can’t keep a green ogre down, can you? Obviously, the 2001 original is also a top view again this week. It, too, was restored to Netflix this month. It’s still a fun watch to see this classic comedy again.
3 - Aftermath
Action and thrills in this 2024 hostage movie. The action is set on Boston’s Tobin Memorial bridge as a bunch of mercenary terrorists threaten to blow it up along with the people trapped there. Dylan Sprouse plays the lead as a hostage. He’s an ex-war veteran struggling with PTSD, it’s not going to be easy going for him.
2 - Kinda Pregnant
Amy Schumer hit the top spot in the movie views on Netflix on last week’s list and slips by one place now. It’s a good comedy, though, as she copes with a fake bump to simulate a pregnancy. See how Schumer copes with the life-changing events that occur as a result.
1 - La Dolce Villa
Scott Foley heads to Italy to stop his daughter, played by Maia Reficco, from wasting her money on renovating an old property. The villa only cost one Euro, so what can possibly go wrong? There’s plenty of escapades and charm as the story is told in a wonderful setting.
Top five most watched shows on Netflix week ending Feb. 16
5 - The Night Agent: Season 2
Season two was released in January after the success of the first set of episodes. This second season of the Government and Secret Service drama is based ten months after the first and starts in Bangkok. Worryingly it looks as though there is another leak on the inside revealing Peter Sutherland’s movements.
4 - Sweet Magnolias: Season 4
After an 18-month wait, the eagerly awaited season four was released earlier this month. With JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Heather Headley, and Brooke Elliott as the main characters it revisits their lives in South Carolina. We learn how their families and relationships have moved on and what happens next to the four best friends.
3 - Apple Cider Vinegar
This drama based on a true story continues in the top five for a second week since its February release. Kaitlyn Dever plays Belle Gibson who is a wellness influencer gathering in plenty of love and good wishes after she announces her cancer diagnosis on Instagram. But it's not true, watch the story unfold.
2 - Cobra Kai: Season 6
Yes, the comedy martial arts drama is back with a bang, and a kick and a chop too! Season six contained fifteen episodes split into three parts. The first of those was released last July, the second in November and now the third and final section is just out. If you are part of the Miyagiverse you’ll have been waiting patiently for this.
1 - Surviving Black Hawk Down
A newly released docuseries comes straight into the top slot. The film Black Hawk Down in 2001 was a big hit with its gritty view of the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. This program focuses on the soldiers involved and the Somali people who survived. It’s a horrific watch in places as the reality of war hits home through interviews and actual footage shot during the war.
