Here’s what lots of people viewed on Netflix last week, according to TUDUM. If you want to keep up to date with the social chat and make sure you aren't missing out, you’ll need to know about the top five most-viewed movies and shows on Netflix listed below.
Neflix has been busy adding new movies again. A couple of their new releases in late February have had a big influence on the top five movies list. One movie stormed the list after a huge box office success. A second of those movie releases helped drive viewings of other films in the same series.
The top five shows see several from last week continue their success with more high viewing numbers. There are also a couple of new entries that aren't to be missed. An emotional, true story based drama and a brand new comedy.

5 - Uncharted
The 2022 adventure saga drops slightly in the views ranking but still makes the top five. Tom Holland stars as Drake, a treasure hunter accompanied by Sully, played by Mark Wahlberg. There's plenty of action as the search goes around the world.
4 - Minions
There is a strong Despicable Me theme to this week's top five. Minions remains from last week's list. It was the third movie to be released in the franchise when it came out in 2015. It’s a good follow-up in the fun animation series.
3 - Despicable Me 3
The Despicable Me movies may be feeding each other's success in viewing numbers. The first two in the series dropped off the platform in February. This fourth movie overall, including Minions, follows the story from Despicable Me 2. It’s very funny and still popular.
2 - Despicable Me 4
Feeding the Minions frenzy comes Despicable Me 4. It moved on to Netlfix late in February, picking up viewers quickly. It follows the same format and themes, perhaps a bit formulaic now, but why change something that's working well? If you loved the others, this will be a great watch, too.
1 - Venom: The Last Dance
The third and final movie in the Venom superhero series was a huge box office hit when it was released last October. So, there is no surprise that it went straight to number one on Netflix views in the week it was released there. The movie has a cracking cast with Tom Hardy in the lead role and featuring Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, and Stephen Graham.

5 - The Search For Instagram's Worst Con Artist
A documentary series focusing on the true story of an influencer, Belle Gibson. The story is set out as a drama in Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix. This looks behind that depiction and shows how the wellness guru’s life changed when she faked a serious illness.
4 - Toxic Town
Arriving at number four in its first week of release is Toxic Town. A strong cast led by Jodie Whittaker tells the fact-based story of a group of mothers fighting for justice. It’s an emotional drama at times as the story of toxic poisoning causing birth defects in a small UK town unravels.
3 - Running Point
Starring Kate Hudson, this new comedy from Mindy Kaling always looked likely to be a big hit. Hudson plays Isla Gordon, an LA executive who becomes head of the Los Angles Waves, one of the biggest basketball franchises. It’s a male-dominated sport, and she has to prove herself in the top role. Are there hints of Ted Lasso in there? Maybe have a look and see what you reckon.
2 - American Murder: Gabby Petito
This documentary is based on the true and, at times, disturbing story of the murder of Gabby Petito. She and her fiance set off in a camper van to take a trip across America. Interviews with friends and family reveal more about her last days.
1 - Zero Day
Robert De Niro's first TV starring role sees Zero Day move to number one in its second top five week. He plays ex-president George Mullen and has to lead an investigation into a terrifying global cyber attack. Can he help save America and the world from further danger? Come on, it’s Robert De Niro we’re talking about.
