Creator: Adam Horowitz, Edward Kitsis

Emma Swan (Morrison) is reunited with her son she gave up for adoption 10 years earlier when she was 18 and suddenly her world is turned upside down.

Henry (Gilmore) has been living with his adopted mom Regina Mills (Parrilla) where she is the mayor of Storybrooke, Maine. He needs Emma’s help because he’s been reading a book of fairy tales his teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard (Goodwin) gave him and now believes she’s the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.

Henry thinks Snow White and Prince Charming sent her out of the Enchanted Forest to protect her from a curse from the Evil Queen, which Emma finds awfully hard to believe, but when she arrives in Storybrooke she begins to think that maybe Henry was right after all.

The characters in the book start appearing in Storybrooke as real-life humans, but have no knowledge of their fairytale existence, but the Evil Queen does and she’s hell-bent on preventing Emma from breaking the curse.
