One of the best new shows on television is the ABC legal drama starring Emmy Award winner Viola Davis who became the first African-American to win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Annalise Keating, a defense attorney teaching a class at Middleton University.

Annalise picks five of her students to be interns at her firm and they become embroiled in not just one murder, but two. The murders are of Annalise’s husband Sam Keating and his mistress Lila Stangard who is also a student Middleton. Annalise’s interns are the ones responsible for the death of Sam and as the show goes from the present-day to flashbacks we get all the evidence Annalise needs to cover up the death for her interns so they can get away with murder.
