E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is considered one of the best movies ever made. As we mentioned above, the film was co-written and directed by the great Steven Spielberg and launched a whole genre of movies similar to E.T. 

In the film, an alien, known as E.T. lands on Earth mistakenly, and is found by a young boy. With the help of his siblings, the boy tries to keep E.T. hidden and help him get back to his home planet.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is not a complete Halloween movie, but there is the great Halloween scene from the movie. And, that’s why the film is one of the best Halloween movies on Netflix!
