Short stories have never been scarier before VHS 2. Just like the original, the sequel includes a bunch of short stories all viewed in VHS format, while another short story is going on involving the narration process of the movie.

I think the second VHS is a lot scarier than the first and that says a lot. All five of the short stories are really disturbing and all different because they were directed by five separate directors. The fourth short story in the movie is titled Safe Haven and remains to this day one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen in a film.

If you haven’t seen any films in the VHS anthology, the good news is you can start with the second film since it’s not really tied into the first film. I recommend checking out every movie in the franchise, they are certainly unique and definitely frightening.
