Netflix has truly been the gift that keeps on giving in 2024. All throughout the year, the streaming service has continued to acquire so many past and recent favorite television series for our binge-watching pleasure, even beyond its own original series.

Whether it's This Is Us, The Resident, Fire Country, Interview with the Vampire, Sex and the City, Lost, or How I Met Your Mother, there were (and are) plenty of great shows to binge on Netflix. In a post-Suits renaissance world, what's old is new again and we're all eating it up.

But the streamer isn't finished yet with bringing popular and underrated series to its ranks. This fall, Gossip Girl returns to Netflix, and soon after The CW classic arrives in October, one of NBC's most underrated workplace comedies begins streaming on Netflix for the first time.

NBC's 2018 comedy series A.P. Bio will begin streaming on Netflix in November 2024. If you're looking forward to discovering or rediscovering the underrated sitcom from Mike O'Brien, here's what you need to know about the show and its Netflix release!

A.P. Bio coming to Netflix in November 2024

A.P. Bio contains four seasons and 42 episodes in total, and while it was initially unclear if every season would be available to stream on Netflix when it arrives on Friday, Nov. 15, Netflix officially confirmed that the complete series will be available.

The series first premiered on NBC in 2018, where it aired for two seasons, which were each 13 episodes each. A.P. Bio then moved to Peacock for its eight-episode third and fourth seasons. Those two seasons being Peacock originals could have impacted their Netflix availability, but it's exciting that it won't and we'll be able to watch every single season on Netflix.

A.P. Bio comes from executive producers Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers and features Glenn Howerton, Patton Oswalt, and Paula Pell among its main cast members. The series centers on a former Harvard professor who returns to his hometown in Ohio to teach high school biology.

Throughout the series, there were so many hilarious guest stars, including the likes of Niecy Nash, Nikki Glaser, Taran Killam, Ron Funches, Angela Kinsey, Joe Manganiello, Erinn Hayes, Christopher Lloyd, and so many others.

If you're a fan of shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, Superstore, and Abbott Elementary, you should definitely consider adding A.P. Bio to your Netflix watch list. Because it suffered in the ratings, the show didn't end up becoming a big hit and remained under the radar until its eventual cancellation by Peacock in 2021.

Currently, the complete series remains available to stream on Peacock. If you want to get a head start on your binge-watch before the show arrives on Netflix, you can do so on NBC's streaming service. But just make sure you will tune in either way. Trust, you're going to watch to watch this one!
