Netflix Lifers, we have good news to share about All of Us Are Dead season 2! Back in January 2026, we shared a meaningful production update, and now the hit Korean zombie series has taken another major step forward in the filmmaking process.

When it comes to All of Us Are Dead season 2, it makes sense why fans immediately hang on to every new detail. It’s been a long wait since the first season took over Netflix and left us with that jaw-dropping finale, and anticipation has only grown stronger with time. As one of Netflix’s most successful Korean originals, All of Us Are Dead quickly became a global sensation.

Since its renewal, viewers have been eager to find out what’s next for the surviving students of Hyosan High. While it took a long time to get the cameras rolling on the highly anticipated second season, it did finally happen in July of 2025. Then, we learned close to the end of that year that All of Us Are Dead season 2 might be wrapping up production by mid-February 2026.

However, this was just a rumor. Neither Netflix nor the show's creative team ever officially confirmed that timeline. But it looks like this rumor was true because a new update indicates that filming has now wrapped, marking a major milestone for the long-awaited second installment.

It's true! While Netflix hasn’t officially come out and made a big post announcing it with a dramatic behind-the-scenes photo or something of the sort, all signs point to All of Us Are Dead season 2 finishing production. It looks like cast members wrapped at different times throughout February 2026, subtly confirming that their time on set had come to an end.

For example, Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra) appears to have wrapped her scenes for season 2 on Feb. 4. She shared photos via Instagram on that day of a celebratory cake gifted to her by the production team. Not long after, Park Ji-hu (Nam On-jo) also revealed that she had completed her scenes later in the month by posting photos on Instagram of her own wrap cake. That post is dated Feb. 18.

Last but not least, Yi-hyun shared a photo of herself and new cast member Roh Jae-won on her Instagram story just a few hours ago. The text on the photo is in Korean, but we translated it into English. In English, it reads "Congrats on the final shoot! All of Us Are Dead wrap!!!" So it's pretty clear at this point that the cameras have stopped rolling on All of Us Are Dead season 2. If Netflix does decide to make things official with a formal announcement, we'll probably see it soon.

Our main concern now is when the second season will actually be released. There are rumors going around that season 2 might come out in December 2026, but we're not holding our breath. The show wasn't even included in the initial 2026 Korean lineup, so that alone makes a late 2026 premiere feel less certain. It's possible, but we're leaning more towards an early 2027 release. That should give the new episodes an ample amount of time to be edited to perfection in post-production, so that they'll be ready for viewing.

We'll return with the official release date for All of Us Are Dead season 2 once it's announced. That said, make sure to stay tuned to Netflix Life!
