A new report is circulating that Netflix may be gearing up to add all three films in the Creed trilogy to its library in June 2026. While the news has not yet been officially confirmed by the streaming giant, the possibility alone has already sparked excitement among fans of the Rocky universe and modern sports dramas!

If the report proves accurate, viewers could soon be able to stream Creed (2015), Creed II (2018), and Creed III (2023) back-to-back. They'll be able to experience the complete evolution of one of the most compelling legacy characters in recent film history!

According to What's on Netflix, the news outlet reports that Creed, Creed II, and Creed III will be released on Netflix on Monday, June 1, 2026. But again, this is not an official confirmation from Netflix itself. However, it's worth noting that What's on Netflix is usually accurate when it comes to tracking licensing shifts, upcoming catalog rotations, and streaming availability changes. That said, we’ll just have to wait for Netflix to make an official announcement before taking this release date as guaranteed.

The Creed films serve as both a continuation and a reinvention of the iconic Rocky franchise. Instead of focusing on Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) as the central fighter, the trilogy shifts the spotlight to Adonis “Donnie” Creed. Donnie is the son of Apollo Creed, aka Rocky’s legendary rival turned closest friend. Michael B. Jordan stars in the leading role as Donnie for all three movies.

The first film, Creed, introduces Donnie as a young man struggling to escape the shadow of a father he never met. Despite being raised in privilege after being taken in by Apollo’s widow, Donnie feels an undeniable pull toward boxing. He eventually seeks out an aging Rocky Balboa and convinces him to become his trainer. The film then follows Donnie’s emotional and physical transformation as he fights to build an identity separate from his father’s legacy.

The second installment, Creed II, expands the emotional stakes by bringing legacy and generational conflict to the forefront. After becoming a world champion, Donnie finds himself facing a new challenger connected directly to his father’s past. It's Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago, aka the man who killed Apollo Creed in the ring decades earlier.

The most recent entry, Creed III, marked a major shift for the franchise. Not only was it the first Creed film without Rocky Balboa appearing, but it also served as a deeply personal story for Donnie himself.

Now retired from boxing and focused on family life, Donnie is forced back into the ring when a figure from his past reappears. It's his childhood friend, Damian “Dame” Anderson, with whom he shares a history that has long been buried. Jonathan Majors takes on the role of Dame.

A fourth Creed movie is currently in the works, so fans of the sports drama franchise have that to look forward to. Not only is Jordan expected to star in it, but he is also confirmed to be directing the film. But that's pretty much all that's been revealed about the movie so far.
