These anime have something special in them that immediately captures the audience's attention, so much so that they have been even recommended to their friends, which further gave them a considerable boost in positive reception.

Loid Forger is an undercover agent on duty, and to fulfill his mission he adopts a daughter who turns out to be a psychic. So this young girl Anya knows all secrets of her dad, and it can get quite hilarious at times.

Anya tries her best to assist her father during his missions, but she dislikes studying. Turns out that studying and getting good scores at her prestigious school will get Loid closer to certain people of interest. Loid also marries Yor Forger, but turns out she is also an assassin in secret. So you will witness an odd family trying to go through their daily lives in this fun comedy anime.

Hunter X Hunter

Hunter X Hunter focuses on Gon and Killua's quest to find Gon's father, who abandoned him as a child. For that purpose, Gon chooses to follow in his footsteps and become a hunter. The anime is light-hearted at first, but gets progressively serious. Both kids learn new fighting techniques as they learn to control their Nen.

Hunter X Hunter is a Shonen anime that doesn't hesitate to go dark with its themes. There are a couple of disturbing arcs, including the Chimera Ant, which may be a bit too much for children, despite focusing on child protagonists.
