3 good movies leaving Netflix in November 2024
By Bryce Olin
There are only a few days left in November, and we all know what that means. Netflix is about to lose some good movies! If you're looking for what to watch on Netflix, this is the list for you.
With the month winding down, we picked the three best movies leaving Netflix in November 2024. We highly recommend watching these movies before they leave in a few days.
At the end of every month, Netflix usually loses the streaming rights to at least a handful of licensed movies. Some of these movies are the most popular movies on Netflix, but more often than not, it's older films.
Let's get the list started with Two Weeks Notice -- which you don't have to watch these movies; it's more like five days notice -- starring Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant!
Two Weeks Notice
Last day to watch: Saturday, Nov. 30
Two Weeks Notice might be 22 years old right now, but it's still a great romantic comedy to watch on Netflix while you have time. The film from March Lawrence tells the story of Bullock's character, Lucy, a lawyer as she begins working for a billionaire, George, played by Grant, who is a jerk, basically. At first, things are not great between the pair, but over time, things start to change. Some enemies-to-lovers vibes are going on if you know what I mean.
Overall, Two Weeks Notice isn't one of the best rom-coms from Bullock or Grant, but it's still very good, and you should check it out on Netflix before it leaves at the end of the month.
It Chapter Two
Last day to watch Saturday, Nov. 30
It Chapter Two is also leaving Netflix on Nov. 30, so you only have a few days to watch it. If you're an It fan or if you haven't seen the horror movie based on Stephen King's famous novel of the same name, you should definitely make time.
It Chapter Two is set 27 years after the first movie but the timelines are different than the book. Pennywise returns to torment the Losers, but now, they're a lot older. They must return to Derry to stop Pennywise once and for all.
James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgård, Andy Bean, and James Ransone star in the movie.
Overall, It Chapter Two isn't as good as It Chapter One, which isn't available to stream on Netflix right now but has been in the past. It's much more challenging to stick the landing, but it's popularity definitely helped launch the upcoming series Welcome to Derry, which is coming to HBO and Max next year.
Frances Ha
Last day to watch: Saturday, Nov. 30
Frances Ha is definitely the best movie leaving Netflix in November! If you haven't seen Frances Ha, the time is now!
Frances Ha is directed by Noah Baumbach. It stars Greta Gerwig, the director of many hits, including Barbie, and the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia movies on Netflix. The film tells the story of Frances, played by Gerwig, who is just living life and chasing her dreams of becoming a dancer. It's about so much more than that, though, just like all of Baumbach's movies are.
If you like indie movies, this is the movie for you to watch right now. It's probably my favorite of Baumbach's movies. If you like Frances Ha, you should definitely watch The Meyerowitz Stories, Marriage Story, and White Noise on Netflix.
Those are the three movies leaving Netflix in November that you should definitely watch! There a few other movies leaving Netflix at the end of the month, including Downton Abbey, What to Expect When You're Expecting, The Little Things, Space Jam: New Legacy, and more!
The good news is that there are a bunch of good shows and movies coming to Netflix in December 2024!
