Created and produced by the beloved Shonda Rhimes, Inventing Anna hit Netflix in Feb. 2022 and instantly caught viewers’ attention. The limited series follows the story of real-life Anna Delvey (real name Anna Sorokin), a young woman from Russia who pretends to be a wealthy heiress.

Anna cons New York City’s elite out of money, opportunities, and even a private jet! It’s so entertaining watching Inventing Anna knowing that many of the moments depicted really happened in real life. It’s a gripping story that’ll have you invested from start to finish.

And of course, let’s not forget the star of Inventing Anna: Julia Garner. The Ozark actress is known for her talent, having already won multiple Emmy Awards, and her success is not slowing down anytime soon. She’s a fantastic actress and she absolutely kills the role of Anna Delvey. Just be prepared for the ridiculous accent that really does sound like the real-life person.

Inventing Anna is only nine episodes and it likely won’t come back for a second season. It’s a great binge and you’ll be happy you watched it, I’m sure.
