If you’ve been looking for a new teen series to replace the empty space that Sex Education has left, you must absolutely check out Everything Now on Netflix. It’s a British teen series that’ll easily remind you of other teen shows like Sex EducationSkinsEuphoria and Heartbreak High.

Talk to Me star Sophie Wilde stars in the leading role of Mia Polanco, a 16-year-old girl who finally returns home after spending a lengthy seven months in a rehabilitation center for an eating disorder.

But when Mia is thrust back into the real world and rejoins her best friends at the fictional Westmere School, she soon discovers that everything has changed, including her friends. So to make up for lost time, she creates a bucket list of experiences she wants to accomplish, and with the help of her closest friends, she’s determined to cross off every single one.

Overall, the show has received praise from critics and viewers alike. Many people praised the series for showing an honest depiction of anorexia without glamorizing the illness. The show was also applauded for the outstanding performances from the cast, the diverse representation of different sexualities, and the way it made sure not to make sexuality a plot point.

While we do recommend that people check out this series, it can be triggering for some people. So, if you’re sensitive to the topic of eating disorders, you might want to skip out on this one.

Verdict: WATCH
