He’s All That

Release Year: 2021

Directed by Mark Waters

Starring Addison Rae, Tanner Buchanan, Madison Pettis, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Peyton Meyer

He’s All That was one of the most highly anticipated teen Netflix movies of 2021. It premiered on the streaming service on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, and though it didn’t do well with critics, fans of Addison Rae enjoyed it.

You knew He’s All That was going to be super popular on Netflix regardless of whether or not it is good or not. That’s what happens when you have major stars in the movie, including Addison Rae, who has a huge social media following. He’s All That is Rae’s feature film debut.

The movie is also a spinoff of the hit ’90s romantic comedy, She’s All That.

While I prefer She’s All That, there’s definitely a place for He’s All That. It’s just not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. That’s okay, but it’s the reason He’s All That is getting a skip from us. It is better than The Kissing Booth 3.

If you like teen rom-coms, He’s All That is a must-watch. This movie is definitely not as bad as some people say it is. Most people don’t like teen rom-coms, though, so that’s why it’s a skip.

Verdict: SKIP
