Sweet Home season 2 cast: Who’s new and who’s returning?

Sweet Home is back! The highly anticipated second season is now streaming on Netflix. It’s been a long time coming, but now we can finally dive in and watch all the new episodes of the hit Korean series.

In Sweet Home season 2, we see the return of some of our favorite characters as well as the introduction of some new characters. Hyun-soo makes his way to the Bamseom Emergency Management Bureau, where vaccine research is being conducted. Meanwhile, the rest of the Green Home survivors settle down in a run-down baseball stadium where other survivors are gathered. They are protected by a military organization that specializes in handling monsters called The Crow Platoon.

It’s not going to be easy trying to survive in the outside world, and the Green Home survivors will soon learn this. They’ll find themselves confronting new dangers and having to fight against their own monstrous desires. They’ll also become divided, which isn’t a good thing to do when in a monster apocalypse.

Sweet Home season 2 returning cast

As mentioned above, most of the Green Home survivors from season 1 return in the second installment. That means you can expect to see Song Kang (Cha Hyun-soo), Lee Si-young (Seo Yi-kyung), Go Min-si (Lee Eun-yoo), Park Gyu-young (Yoon Ji-soo), and Kim Hee-Jung (Cha Jin-ok). Lee Jin-wuk, who plays Pyeon Sang-wook, has also been confirmed to return. But if you recall from the season 1 finale, Sang-wook becomes possessed by Ui-Myeong.

It’ll be interesting to see how he and Hyun-soo interact this season since the last time we saw them they were driving away together in a military truck. How will Hyun-soo react when he finds out Sang-wook isn’t really Sang-wook?

New cast members in Sweet Home season 2

There are many new faces we will get to see this season. Jinyoung, Yoo Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se, Kim Moo-yeol, Kim Si-a, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Dong-young, Yoon Se-ah, Yang Hye-ji, Hyun Bong-sik, and Chae Won-bin are all new cast members joining in season 2.

South Korean actor Yook Jun-seo is also reportedly in the season 2 cast, but his role is undisclosed.
