Get ready: Here’s what time Sweet Home season 2 is coming to Netflix
Get ready to jump for joy because one of the best Korean series on Netflix is finally set to make its return soon. We’re talking about none other than Sweet Home season 2, and we can’t wait to finally dive into the brand new season!
Fans have been waiting for quite some time for the second season. Seriously! I mean, it’s been almost three years since the first season came out, and we’re just now seeing a new season hit Netflix. Well, not yet. The highly anticipated Sweet Home season 2 is scheduled to be released on Dec. 1, so it’s not too far away.
But the most important information that every fan needs to know at the moment is the release time. I’m sure you want to watch the new season as soon as it drops. Of course, you can always count on us at Netflix Life to help you out. That’s why we shared the exact release time for when Sweet Home season 2 will make its way to Netflix right below.
Sweet Home season 2 release time on Netflix
Drum roll, please! Mark your calendar, clear your schedule, and set your alarm because Sweet Home season 2 is coming to Netflix on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. Obviously, these times only apply to people living on the West Coast and East Coast of the United States. But if you’re living in the Midwest or in the Central time zone, you’re looking at a release time of 2:00 a.m. CT on Dec. 1.
The age rating remains the same from the first season, which is TV-MA. This means the second season is meant to be watched by mature, adult audiences only. If you watched the first season, you’d already know that this show is definitely not appropriate for kids. There’s tons of blood and graphic violence.
So, we strongly recommend watching the new season when no kids are around. Maybe wait until they go to sleep or when they’re occupied with watching a kids’ movie or TV show.

What is Sweet Home season 2 about?
Well, we must first give a recap of how the first season ended.
After Hyun-soo transforms and takes out Ui Myeong, the military begins to surround the Green Home Apartments looking for special infectees. But we find out that Ui Myeong didn’t really die and has escaped by a military truck.
Hyun-soo decides to surrender to the military while the rest of the Green Home survivors hide in the underground bunker. But one survivor, Eun Hyuk, decides to stay back to get Hyun-soo to come with them. We find out later that the real reason why Eun Hyuk decided to stay back is because he realized that he was turning into a monster and he didn’t want to harm anyone. We never find out if he lives or not by the end of the season 1 finale. This is something we’ll probably find out in season 2.
As the Green Home survivors make it out of the bunker, they’re escorted by the military to what is supposed to be a “safety camp.” However, Yi-kyung is unable to join the rest of the survivors since she didn’t keep up her part of the deal that she had with the military. Instead, she strikes a new deal with the military and joins them. The season ends with Hyun-soo driving away in a military truck with Sang-wook. But it’s not really Sang-wook. It’s Ui Myeong possessing his body.
In Sweet Home season 2, we’ll see Hyun-soo and the rest of the survivors fight to survive in new places while going through major changes. There are also new characters and monsters introduced and a new setting.
The season 2 cast is made up of Song Kang, Lee Jin-wuk, Lee Si-young, Ko Min-si, Park Gyu-young, Jinyoung, Yoo Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se, Kim Moo-yeol, Kim Si-a, and others.
Also, we don’t have to worry about the show being renewed because a third season has already been confirmed and filmed.
