Leo cast guide: Who voices who in the Netflix animated movie?
Netflix has released a new kids animated movie titled Leo, and it’s the perfect film to watch with the family this Thanksgiving.
It’s a Netflix movie following an aging lizard named Leo who has spent decades in the same Florida classroom with his turtle friend Squirtle. When Leo learns that he doesn’t have that much time left to live, he decides to escape from his tank to explore the outside world and make the most out of his last year on Earth. However, his plans are derailed when he finds himself becoming a therapist to the students in his classroom.
You won’t believe who voices the characters in this animated film! There are several voices I’m sure you’ll recognize right away. Now, without further ado, here’s who voices who in Leo on Netflix.
Adam Sandler as Leo
Leo is a jaded 74-year-old lizard suffering from an identity crisis. This leads him to escape from the terrarium of a school classroom that he’s been living in for decades. But instead of really experiencing life on the outside, he ends up becoming somewhat of an emotional support pet for the students in his classroom.
Emmy Award-winning actor Adam Sandler is best known for starring in the comedy films Billy Madison, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard, Click, Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2 and Hustle. Also, you might’ve watched him in the crime thriller film Uncut Gems. He also starred in the Netflix movies Hubie Halloween, Murder Mystery and Murder Mystery 2.

Bill Burr as Squirtle
You could say that Squirtle is Leo’s best mate. He’s been living in the Florida classroom just as long as him. He might be cranky at times, but he’s always there for his lizard friend.
Bill Burr is best known for his stand-up comedy specials such as You People Are All the Same, I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, Walk Your Way Out and Paper Tiger. He also created and starred in the Netflix adult animated series F Is for Family. Some of his other roles were in Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian and The King of Staten Island. His most recent project was the Netflix comedy film Old Dads.
