Hustle is the best of Adam Sandler’s Netflix movies so far. It’s such a good movie! Sandler is a huge fan of basketball, so this role was basically made for him to thrive.
In Hustle, Sandler plays Stanley Sugerman, a basketball scout for the Philadelphia 76ers. Stanley sticks his neck, job, and reputation out to help bring Bo Cruz (Juancho Hernangómez) to the NBA from Spain, but consistent issues with Bo and his past continue to delay his path to the NBA. Will he and Stanley make it? You’ll have to watch to find out.
As a dramatic actor, Sandler is never better than he is in Hustle in my opinion. He’s so good in this movie, and it’s such a great story. There are also a few epic performances from NBA stars, including Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
There’s no doubt Hustle was one of the best Netflix movies of 2022. It’s that good, and it’s easily one of the best recent basketball movies.
Don’t worry! There are more of Sandler’s movies coming to Netflix soon! We’ll share more information on those movies soon.
