The Lincoln Lawyer season 2

09/15/23 UPDATE: The Lincoln Lawyer has been renewed for a third season.

On May 13, 2022, Netflix dropped The Lincoln Laywer and everyone stopped what they were doing to see what the television adaptation was all about. It was a huge success with tons of people tuning in and mostly positive reviews from critics. Due to high viewership numbers, Netflix renewed the legal drama for a second season a month after its release. Since then, people have wondered when the second installment will arrive on Netflix.

The first season was based on the 2008 novel The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly and followed criminal-defense lawyer Mickey Haller as he runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln. The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 will be based on the fourth book in The Lincoln Lawyer book series titled The Fifth Witness.

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Krista Warner, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and Elliott Gould are to return for the second season. New actors have also joined the cast for season 2 such as Lana Parrilla and Yaya DaCosta.

Production on the second season officially began on Oct. 31, 2022, and everything wrapped up on March 28, 2023. Now, we have an official release date. The second season has been split into two parts. The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 part 1 is scheduled to land on Netflix on July 6 and part 2 on Aug. 3.
