Ginny and Georgia season 2
06/08/23 UPDATE: In May 2023, Netflix renewed Ginny and Georgia for two seasons. So, expect to see a third and fourth season on Netflix in the future.
Ginny and Georgia season 2 finally has a release date! On Dec. 1, Netflix announced that the teen series would return on Jan. 5, 2023. We had thought the second season would be ready for a 2022 release, but I guess Netflix decided to save it for early next year.
Ginny and Georgia season 2 takes place two weeks after the events that happened in the season 1 finale. After discovering that Georgia murdered her ex-husband, Ginny and Austin ride off on Marcus’s motorcycle, most likely to Zion’s house. Elsewhere, Georgia celebrates her fiance’s reelection as mayor.
The second season will focus on Ginny dealing with knowing that her mom is a murderer while also juggling school, romance, and friendship. Georgia has to figure out how to fix her relationship with Ginny now that she knows about her dark past. And we can’t forget the wedding planning and Georgia’s ex-husband/Austin’s dad appearing after serving time in jail.
There’s a lot to cover in season 2, and we can’t wait to see how everything turns out for Ginny and Georgia and their relationship. I mean, things just have to work out between one of our favorite mother-daughter duos, right?
